I think it’s safe to say that I’ve never been more excited for a video game in my entire life. As someone who still regularly plays NCAA Football 2014, I simply cannot wait for July when EA College Football 25 comes out.

If you know me, you know I love a career mode. Put me at the worst program or team in the game and let me grind my way to the top. That is what it’s all about in my opinion. Sure, it’s fun to get to a big school and snag the 5-star recruits, but nothing beats getting your first Top 100 3-star dual-threat quarterback while you’re battling for your coaching life in Moscow, Idaho as the head coach of the Idaho Vandals.

By the way, if you’re not familiar with the Kibbie Dome it is ELECTRIC! Look at this masterpiece..

Anyways, I am so unbelievably pumped for this game. My one plea to EA Sports is to please not let us down. A lot of us have been waiting years for this game to come back. If it is a hit like it should be, that means it could possibly lead to basketball games in the future as well. Please do not let us down. Please do not just re-skin Madden and put it out as a college football game. Please give us the in-depth career mode and customization that we all know and love from more modern sports franchises. Please go easy on the ridiculous micro-transactions.

PLEASE JUST MAKE A GOOD GAME!

That is all I’m asking for. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to start drawing up plays and setting up my recruiting board.

July cannot get here fast enough!
