According to multiple sources Bengals wide receiver, Tee Higgins is not expected to be present for the start of Bengals OTA’s next week.

In other news, water is wet. Snow is cold. Etc. Etc. This is not news. Nobody expects Tee Higgins to be at OTA’s and who could blame him? He doesn’t haven’t a long-term contract so why would he risk injury? I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Tee missed mandatory minicamp as well. I hope not, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

The Bengals and Tee Higgins have until July 15th to come to terms on a contract extension. If they don’t get something done before then he will be locked into the one-year franchise tag.

Here’s hoping the Bengals can pull out some magic and work out some kind of deal with Tee.
