The United States men’s national team manager Greg Berhalter has named his 27-player preliminary roster for Copa América.

Eighteen of the 27 players on the latest roster took part in the 2022 World Cup. Every player on the roster except for one played with the U.S. for its Concacaf Nations League run back in March, the one player missing is Sergiño Dest, who unfortunately tore his ACL last month.

As an FC Cincinnati supporter it’s always nice to see the club represented at the national level. No surprise here that defender Miles Robinson was called up.

Robinson has 29 career caps with the United States, 23 of which have come in official competitive action.

Greg Berhalter and the USMNT will name their final roster for Copa América after their two friendly matches. The USMNT will take on Colombia on June 8 in Landover, Maryland and Brazil on June 12 in Orlando, Florida.

The USMNT will begin group stage play for Copa América on Sunday, June 23 in Arlington, Texas against Bolivia.
