On Thursday Netflix released the first season of their new show Tires starring stand-up comedian Shane Gillis. The show was written by Gillis and his friend and fellow comedian John McKeever years ago. They wrote it, filmed it and put a pilot episode of it up on YouTube (that episode has since been taken down after the show was picked up by Netflix).

The show follows a crew working at a Pennsylvania tire shop. It is a crude, bro-comedy, but if you have followed Shane Gillis’ stand-up, then this should come as no surprise to you.

The first season only has six episodes and each episode is a little over 20 minutes long, so it’s an easy watch. I really enjoyed the show. I found it quite funny and I liked how Shane Gillis just put all of his fellow comedian friends in it.

The show is offensive, crude and ridiculous, but I found it quite funny. If you’re not a Shane Gillis fan you probably won’t enjoy this show and that’s ok. To each their own. If you do enjoy Shane’s stand-up, then give this show a try.

Tires has already been picked up for a second season.
