On Wednesday morning, Jimmy and Dee Haslam announced that the Browns have extended the contracts of head coach Kevin Stefanski and EVP/GM Andrew Berry.
We are incredibly fortunate to have Kevin Stefanski and Andrew Berry leading the Cleveland Browns. Since the day they were hired, each has worked tirelessly to help the Cleveland Browns win. We are proud of what they and the team have achieved, but Kevin and Andrew would be the first to say that Browns fans deserve even more. Their leadership, collaborative approach, and ability to overcome obstacles bode well for the future of this franchise. – Jimmy and Dee Haslam
Since both being hired in 2020, the Browns have gone 37-30 which is the best four-year stretch since 1986-89. In their first season together, the Browns won their first playoff game in 26 years.
Stefanski has won NFL Head Coach of the Year twice (2020 and 2023). He also joins Paul Brown as the only head coaches in team history with multiple 11-win seasons.
Berry has been nothing short of amazing in his dealings and wizardry with the cap (minus Deshaun Watson — yea, still not a fan — give me Baker). He has inked Myles Garrett, Denzel Ward, Wyatt Teller, Joel Bitonio, and David Njoku to extensions. He STOLE Amari Cooper for late draft picks. He got Jerry Jeudy for next to nothing and extended him immediately. Also, let’s not forget he drafted guys like Grant Delpit and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in the second round of different drafts.
Huge news for the organization as the two top dawgs are here to stay for awhile.
